Trade Assistant

Trade Assistant - Manufacturing | Eagle Farm $32+p/h entry level - $35+p/h if experienced.

We're currently seeking a skilled and reliable Trade Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing team based in Eagle Farm. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on environment where your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: 6:00am start, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

You'll be supporting the rework and refurbishment of bearings used in rail transport. This role involves the use of hand and power tools, mechanical handling equipment, and requires a good level of dexterity and precision. Bearings can weigh up to 20kg, however lifting aids are available to assist with manual handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of mechanical components
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a positive team culture

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a trade assistant, mechanical, or manufacturing role
• Competent with hand and power tools
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
