Habitat Creations has secured a strong pipeline of parks and reserves, waterways, wetlands, streetscapes, and environmental conservation projects across Melbourne's West and North through 2026 and beyond, and we need experienced people to help us deliver them.

Leading Hand — Environment Team

Lead a crew delivering land rehabilitation and revegetation works, and integrated pest plant and animal programs for leading local councils, water authorities, greenfield developers and state government agencies driving Victoria's biodiversity and environmental programs. Play a meaningful role in protecting and restoring Victoria’s high-value natural areas.

 

Leading Hand — Landscaping Team

Lead a crew delivering waterway reserves, wetlands, streetscapes and open-space areas like parks and reserves, on behalf of Victoria's leading Landscape Architects and Property Developers. Play a meaningful role in creating beautiful green spaces for local communities.

 

Landscape Maintenance Team — multiple positions

Join our growing Maintenance team taking landscaping projects through establishment to local council or authority handover, ensuring our constructed landscapes are kept to a high visual standard and are provided the care required to establish and thrive.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience leading field crews in landscape construction or environmental conservation. If you don’t have the leadership experience just yet, you do have experience in the industry and you’re ready to step up (for Leading Hand roles)
• Solid hands-on experience and a strong work ethic (for Maintenance Crew roles — we'll train the right people up)
• A genuine leader — someone your crew respects, your clients trust, and your peers want to work alongside
• Current driver's licence; relevant tickets and qualifications (ACUP, First Aid, White Card)
• For our landscaping team, machine operation experience will be highly regarded
• A can-do attitude and a commitment to doing the work properly
