Bellarine & Westcoast Refrigeration has been delivering trusted refrigeration and air conditioning service, maintenance, and repair solutions across Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and Western Melbourne since 2003.
Based in Grovedale, our team of dedicated technicians and apprentices has built a reputation for technical excellence, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HVAC-R Service Technician to join our team. Applications from motivated 3rd and 4th Year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentices are also encouraged.
Applicants currently living in the Greater Geelong region, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, or surrounding areas will be given priority.
This is a hands-on service and maintenance position offering variety and technical challenge every day.
You will work across a diverse range of equipment including:
Commercial refrigeration systems
Split, ducted and VRF air conditioning systems
Chillers
Heat pumps
Commercial kitchen refrigeration
Residential and commercial HVAC equipment
Our customer base includes hospitals, aged care facilities, hotels, restaurants, cafés, schools, government organisations, commercial businesses, and residential clients.
The role involves fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and commissioning work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and developing their technical expertise.
You are someone who takes pride in your work, values professionalism, and enjoys being part of a supportive team environment.
Ideally, you will have:
Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
Current Driver's Licence
White Card
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Progressing through a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning apprenticeship
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication skills
Desire to build a long-term career within the HVAC-R industry
Current Driver's Licence (or close to obtaining one)
