About the role
As a Service Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, providing repairs and commissioning services to our valued customers in the SA region. You will work closely together as a team, leveraging off each other’s technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the SA Service Supervisor, this role offers a fast-paced and varied workload. You'll be responsible for servicing Daikin units in both residential and commercial properties across the SA region. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Diagnosing HVAC system performance through testing and observation, as per applicable service manuals.
Generating repair cost estimates as per Daikin procedure, for customer approval.
Repairing or servicing units to ensure efficient operation. If required, recommend further action such as replacement of units or accessories.
Liaising with dealers, end users, and contractors to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
Providing detailed explanation of service charges and work performed, if chargeable, and collecting relevant payment.
As a Daikin Technician, you will be provided with specialised training on products and access to experienced technical experts to assist with diagnosis and solutions.
About you
Your success in this role will be determined by:
Valid Electrical License
Valid Refrigerant Handling License
Working with children check (Or willing to obtain)
Current Driver’s License
Annual flu vaccination
Technical background in HVAC with experience in maintenance and repair (experiences on Daikin products will be highly desirable).
Strong attention to detail & ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work autonomously
Well-developed problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete the following prior to an offer of employment:
Pre-employment Medical Assessment
Obtaining a National Police Clearance
