28/9 FIFO Roster | Port Hedland WA

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused MC Truck Drivers to join our specialist heavy haulage team supporting major wind farm projects across Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the renewable energy sector transporting oversized wind turbine components including towers, nacelles, and blades on a long-term project roster.

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe transport of oversized and overmass wind farm components across regional and remote routes. Drivers will operate in convoy environments and work closely with escort crews, pilot vehicles, and project logistics teams.

Duties Include

  • Transporting wind turbine blades and components

  • Operating prime movers and specialised heavy haulage equipment

  • Conducting pre-start inspections and compliance checks

  • Following fatigue management and safety procedures

  • Working within permit and escort requirements

  • Maintaining professional communication with project teams and clients

Requirements

  • Current MC Driver’s Licence

  • Proven heavy haulage and/or oversize transport experience

  • Strong understanding of load restraint and transport compliance

  • Ability to work extended swings in remote locations

  • Excellent safety attitude and communication skills

  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing

Highly Regarded

  • Wind industry transport experience

  • Quad/road train experience

  • WA fatigue management knowledge

  • Crane or rigging tickets

  • MSIC or relevant site inductions
