Due to continued expansion, we are currently sourcing suitable applicants to take on our Security Precinct Manager's role at a premium contract within the Melbourne CBD. The Security Precinct Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of the contract, which means effective service delivery and outcomes in line with client requirements. The Security Precinct Manager will be the primary point of contact working closely with the Client and EGroup Management.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lead, plan, as well as communicate with all stakeholders which currently range from tenants and visitors, through to Asset Managers. This opportunity to lead an industry standard security team is unparalleled. The ideal candidate will also need to provide visible leadership and customer service at the front line, as well as sound knowledge of the commercial security landscape.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Ability and experience in leading teams
Developing current skill set of the team through strong customer centric with focus on training and mentorship
Presentation of exceptional Customer service skills
Intermediate to Advance Computer skills - Microsoft Office Package
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Suitable understanding of theory and technology to secure assets and protect critical infrastructure.
Knowledge and experience in emergency management and Australian standards
Construct purposeful and effective communication plans to facilitate information transfer through the detail
Understanding principles and models of managing threats and risk in the complex security environment
Experience in contemporary emergency management process and procedure.
Accountability for overseeing the day-to-day operations and successful performance within this world class asset, including the meeting of a range of performance targets.
To be successful for the role you must have:
5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Security Manager or within the emergency management or risk theatre
Policing or Military background (Desirable)
Understanding of BMS including emergency and security facilities
A comprehensive understanding of WHS and the ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk.
The ability to development, maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures precinct wide.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Excelled in other roles that required attention to detail, the ability to handle pressure and multitask.
Compulsory requirements:
Current Security License
Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management or similar (Desirable)
First Aid Certificate

Explain you're strong leadership and communication skills that are essential in security management, especially during emergencies that allows teams to understand their roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
Customer service and presentation standards, explain what customer service means to you and the importance of maintaining high presentation standards.
Systems, explain you're experience with Access Control, CCTV, integrated Alarm platforms, and you're experience with fire panels and evacuation procedures & processes.
