We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Technician to join our friendly, close-knit team on a full-time basis in Port Adelaide, SA, 5015.

About the Role

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and logbook servicing according to manufacturer guidelines

• Inspect vehicles to diagnose mechanical faults and issues

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and fault codes

• Repair or replace worn, damaged, or faulty vehicle components

• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicle engines and mechanical components

• Service engines, brakes, transmissions, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems

• Perform safety and roadworthy inspections to ensure legal compliance

• Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and assess performance

• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications

• Advise on required repairs and preventative maintenance

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and labour time

• Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop areas are kept clean and safe

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and environmental regulations

• Use workshop management systems and digital diagnostic software

What We're Looking For

• Relevant Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Relevant Certificate IV qualification

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

• Current Drivers Licence

• Good Mechanical Aptitude

• Knowledge of and Experience in the Automotive Industry

• Strong Work Ethic & Punctuality

• Ability to Work Alone or in a Team Environment

• Friendly and positive attitude

• High attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
