Old Mate Plumbing Co is a growing maintenance plumbing business based on the Gold Coast.

We specialise in residential maintenance plumbing, blocked drains, leak detection, hot water systems, stormwater, roof leak investigations and general plumbing repairs.

We focus on quality workmanship, great customer service and doing things properly the first time.

🛠 THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced maintenance plumber who can confidently run their own van and manage jobs from start to finish.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Diagnosing plumbing issues and providing solutions

• Quoting and completing maintenance plumbing work

• Managing jobs from start to finish

• Communicating professionally with customers

• Building trust and recommending the right solutions

• Maintaining high workmanship standards

• Completing job notes, photos and required follow-up tasks

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, likes working independently, and understands that great customer service is just as important as great plumbing.

💰 PAY & BENEFITS

• $45–$65 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime available

• No Brisbane travel

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You'll need:

• QBCC Plumbing Licence

• Current QBCC Plumbing Licence registration is mandatory at the time of application

• Current Driver's Licence

• Strong maintenance plumbing experience

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance plumbing experience is required

• Confidence communicating with customers

• Ability to quote work accurately

• Ability to work independently

• Pride in your workmanship and presentation

• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

⭐ Highly Regarded But Not Essential

• Experience with ServiceM8 or similar job management software

• Maintenance plumbing sales or quoting experience

• Roof leak detection experience

• Roof repair experience (tile or metal roofs)

• Gutter and downpipe experience

• Restricted Electrical Licence

• Gas Licence

• Pipe relining experience

• CCTV and drain cleaning experience
