Massage & Head Spa Therapist

AN Head Spa & Wellness is a modern Japanese-inspired head spa and wellness clinic located in Upper Mt Gravatt, directly opposite Westfield Garden City shopping centre.

We specialise in head spa treatments, facials, massage and body treatments, and are known for our calm environment, skilled therapists, and thoughtful, consistent service, shown through our glowing online customer reviews. Many of our clients come through word-of-mouth and repeat visits, so delivering a warm, professional experience every time is very important to us.

With demand growing, we’re looking for an experienced therapist to join our team.

What we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced therapist who takes pride in their work and delivers a high standard of customer care. Technical skill is important, but professionalism, reliability, and the ability to communicate warmly with clients are just as essential.

Our therapists also occasionally support reception when needed, so being comfortable greeting clients, operating our booking system (Fresha), answering simple enquiries, and helping the team keep the day running smoothly is highly valued.

Experience in one or more of the following is required:
• Japanese head spa, scalp massage, or similar treatments
• Remedial, reflexology, relaxation, pregnancy or hot stone massage
• Experience using facial machines or performing skincare treatments is highly valued

We are happy to provide additional training for the right candidate, particularly in head spa and facial techniques, but a foundation of hands-on massage, or beauty experience is preferred.

Requirements:
• Able to work at least one weekend day
• Good client communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable occasionally assisting with reception and bookings
• Commitment to hygiene, consistency, and professional standards
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a close-knit multicultural team
• Reliability and maturity when handling appointments and client expectations
• Certificate III/IV, Diploma of Beauty Therapy or equivalent is desirable (not essential)
• Australian work rights required
