To be successful in this role, you'll be a great problem solver who can turn challenges around and demonstrate well thought out solutions. You'll be self-motivated, proactive, relate well to people, and be a supremely confident communicator. You must be well presented, prompt and on-time and hold a current driver's licence.

Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you'll have a varied and interesting role that includes the following:

·       Installing, testing and commissioning commercial solar PV systems, EV charging infrastructure and battery storage systems up to 1MW capacity.

·       Conducting electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostic procedures to ensure system performance and compliance with technical specifications.

·       Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation to support installation and maintenance activities.

·       Assisting engineers and project managers in the planning, implementation and monitoring of large-scale renewable energy projects.

·       Inspecting electrical installations and verifying compliance with Australian Standards, state regulations and electrical codes.

·       Monitoring system performance and identifying technical issues requiring corrective actions.

·       Coordinating technical activities on project sites to ensure work is completed according to project schedules and engineering requirements.

·       Preparing and maintaining technical reports, testing records, commissioning documentation and compliance certificates.

Requirements:

·       Ability to work at heights, including on rooftops and ladders

·       Valid electrical license and SAA(CEC) certification

·       Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and SLDs

·       Excellent communication and customer service skills

·       Ability to work independently or as part of a team

·       Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
