Full Time Baker — Underwood $33 per hour | 4:00am – 12:00pm

We're looking for a passionate and experienced full-time baker to join the Brooki Bakehouse production kitchen team in Underwood!

About the role

As a Baker at Brooki Bakehouse, you'll be responsible for the daily production of our bakery items, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to our recipes and standards. This is a full-time position based in our Underwood production kitchen, working 4:00am – 12:00pm.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing and baking a variety of goods including cupcakes, cakes and brownies according to established recipes and production schedules

• Accurately measuring and mixing ingredients to ensure consistency and quality

• Operating and maintaining baking equipment including ovens, mixers and other tools

• Monitoring baking processes to ensure correct cooking times and temperatures

• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

• Inspecting finished products for quality and consistency

• Assisting with inventory management, receiving and storage of ingredients

• Properly packaging and presenting baked goods in accordance with Brooki Bakehouse standards

• Working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to a positive kitchen environment

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Have proven experience as a baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting

• Have strong knowledge of baking techniques and principles

• Can follow recipes accurately and consistently

• Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Hold a valid food handler's certificate (a plus)

• Can stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg
