Are you a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Electrician looking for an opportunity to finish your trade in a specialised and highly sought-after industry?
SEQ UPS is seeking a motivated apprentice to join our growing team and develop a career in the critical power industry. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), DC power systems, generators, power factor correction equipment, battery systems, and critical infrastructure supporting hospitals, data centres, industrial facilities, and other essential services.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced technicians, you will assist with:
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of UPS systems
Battery testing and replacements
Generator inspections and maintenance
DC power system servicing
Power factor correction system maintenance
Fault finding and diagnostics
Preventative maintenance programs
Customer support across a range of commercial and industrial sites
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and professional presentation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current Queensland Driver Licence
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working in hospitals, data centres, or other critical environments
Exposure to UPS systems, generators, DC systems, power factor correction, or industrial electrical maintenance
Electrical fault-finding experience
A Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements for this position due to the environments we service.
