ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Apprentice Hairdresser your primary responsibility is to LEARN!.
The job is fast paced and needs your full attention and no two days are the same in our busy salon!
DEDICATED HAIRDRESSING APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM:
As an Apprentice you receive dedicated training in Hairdressing, comprehensive workbooks and hands on training with our In-House Educators and TAFE @CDU 1 day per week.
You will be working with models each week and we have the ability to get you to a level of proficiency actually doing hair within a few months (remember it also depends on you and your motivation!).
On a daily basis you will be in charge of:
Customer beverages and refreshments;
Customer experience at the basins;
Cleanliness and presentation of the salon;
Ensuring your team members get the support they need.
What we need:
A Cover Letter Attached explaining WHY??? you wish to be a Hairdresser.
Along with your Current Resume (without these Simple requirements there will be Absolutely NO Guarantee of an Interview).
So…… No experience is necessary at entry level but punctuality, decency and respect is!
You Must Have a Strong interest in Hairdressing!
A love of learning!
Reliability, loyal and dedicated to becoming the best hairdresser you can be!
Good Communication skills
An ability to multi-task
Confidence
Good English and mathematical skills
You MUST be an Australian Citizen or have a Permanent Residency of Australia Visa Without these requirements you CANNOT commence an Australian Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Position Full time 38 hours per week
Hours of work:
Tuesday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday 8:30am - 5pm
Rostered Days OFF Sunday / Monday and ALL Public Holidays
