Electrical Supervisor

Job Duties

To represent Tasman in the administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. This will also include bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.

· First point of contact for technicians and customers

· Supervise and divide responsibilities to ensure efficiencies/performance

· Directing, reviewing, and optimizing operations/processes to increase accuracy, productivity, and efficiency and reduce costs

· Undertake regular audits for technicians whilst they are on site

· Contribute to the planning and development of new reactive works and maintenance programs.

· Ensure that the technicians are properly trained to meet service objectives

· Work with your Operations Coordinator to prepare equipment PO’s, installation and parts lists, and vendor required items for quoted / technical repair WOS

· Manage workload and overall demand on labour resource planning

· Prepare work plans, permits, SWMS, work notification forms to commence projects

· Weekly meetings with the team to improve efficiencies

· Ensure compliance with contractual KPIs, service levels, and reporting requirements

· Generate quotations and manage all small works

· Ownership with recruitment process / Assist in interviewing and hiring new professionals.

· Maximise billable hours – Reactive works, quoted works, audits, projects, PM (aim for min of 70% out in the field)

· Identify and resolve employee concerns/complaints.

· Develop programs to improve technical and customer service skills of service staffs.

· Attend all client meetings as required

Qualifications & Experience

· Current Vic electrical licence

· Valid driver's licence

· White card

· CPR/LVR

· Ability to obtain or hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
