About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Maintenance Fitter who knows their way around plant equipment and thrives in a busy manufacturing environment.
You’ll be keeping things running smoothly – from preventative maintenance through to breakdowns and improvements – playing a key role in keeping production on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out mechanical maintenance on plant and equipment
Jumping on breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
Completing scheduled preventative maintenance
Troubleshooting faults and getting things back up and running
Assisting with installs, upgrades, and commissioning
Following safety procedures (lock-out/tag-out, JSA, etc.)
Identifying ongoing issues and helping improve reliability
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification (Fitter & Turner)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
Solid understanding of workplace safety
Bonus points if you have:
Electrical experience or dual trade
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment
Forklift, EWP, or confined space tickets

The Environment
Manufacturing site (noise, dust, moving machinery – PPE provided)
Some manual handling involved (~22kg with aids)
