About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Exhaust Fitter / Welder to join our workshop team. This hands-on role involves the removal, repair, and replacement of exhaust systems on a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, 4WDs, and trucks. The position is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, welding skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Work rights eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove, repair, and replace exhaust systems on cars, 4WDs, and trucks

• Carry out MIG/TIG welding and cutting as required

• Pipe bending experience

• Ensure correct fitting and alignment of new exhaust systems

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an exhaust fitter, welder, or similar trade role (preferred)

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in exhaust fitting, welding, or similar trade role required.

• Competent in MIG/TIG welding and the use of hand/power tools

• Trade qualification in welding is required.

• Good mechanical knowledge of automotive systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
