Welder Fabricator – Ongoing Workshop Work

Future Cast is a growing precast concrete manufacturer supplying products to major infrastructure, commercial and residential projects throughout Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to assist with reinforcement cage fabrication, mesh welding, steel mould fabrication and general workshop welding duties within our manufacturing facility.

This opportunity offers ongoing work in a modern workshop environment with flexible arrangements available. Contractors and tradespeople with an ABN are encouraged to apply; however, an ABN is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Welding reinforcement mesh, starter bars and reinforcement cages

• MIG welding and fabrication of steel moulds for precast concrete production

• Modification, repair and maintenance of moulds and production equipment

• General fabrication and workshop duties

• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings

• Maintaining a safe and organised work area

Requirements

• Welding and fabrication experience

• Experience welding reinforcement steel and mesh highly regarded

• Competent MIG welding skills

• Ability to work independently and maintain quality workmanship

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail

• ABN preferred but not essential
