πŸ› οΈ The Role

Working within a fabrication team, you'll assist in the manufacture of heavy-duty equipment and machinery attachments.

Your duties will include:

πŸ”© MIG welding heavy steel components

πŸ› οΈ Fabricating and assembling equipment and structural components

πŸ“ Reading and interpreting workshop drawings

βš™οΈ Operating fabrication equipment including grinders and cutting tools

🧰 Working with plate steel, box section and structural materials

🚜 Assisting with fit-up and assembly work

πŸ“‹ Conducting quality checks on completed work

πŸ—οΈ Safely using workshop equipment and overhead cranes

🀝 Working closely with production and workshop teams

🦺 Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality


πŸ‘€ What We're Looking For

βœ”οΈ Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience

βœ”οΈ Experience working with heavy steel or structural fabrication

βœ”οΈ Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

βœ”οΈ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

βœ”οΈ Reliable with a solid work ethic

βœ”οΈ Ability to work effectively within a team

βœ”οΈ Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment


⭐ Highly Regarded

βž• Class 2 Welding Qualification

βž• Experience working on heavy equipment, trailers, machinery or structural steel

βž• Forklift Licence

βž• Gantry Crane Experience

βž• Experience using fabrication machinery and workshop tools
