🛠️ The Role

Working within a fabrication team, you'll assist in the manufacture of heavy-duty equipment and machinery attachments.

Your duties will include:

🔩 MIG welding heavy steel components

🛠️ Fabricating and assembling equipment and structural components

📐 Reading and interpreting workshop drawings

⚙️ Operating fabrication equipment including grinders and cutting tools

🧰 Working with plate steel, box section and structural materials

🚜 Assisting with fit-up and assembly work

📋 Conducting quality checks on completed work

🏗️ Safely using workshop equipment and overhead cranes

🤝 Working closely with production and workshop teams

🦺 Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality

👀 What We're Looking For

✔️ Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience

✔️ Experience working with heavy steel or structural fabrication

✔️ Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings

✔️ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

✔️ Reliable with a solid work ethic

✔️ Ability to work effectively within a team

✔️ Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment

⭐ Highly Regarded

➕ Class 2 Welding Qualification

➕ Experience working on heavy equipment, trailers, machinery or structural steel

➕ Forklift Licence

➕ Gantry Crane Experience

➕ Experience using fabrication machinery and workshop tools
