Gingin Grass Fed is one of Western Australia's leading premium meat businesses, supplying retail, wholesale, farmers markets and online customers across the state.
We're growing and we're looking for another great person to join our processing team.
If you're reliable, physically capable, take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a team that gets things done, we'd love to hear from you.
This is not a slow-paced role.
We're looking for someone with energy, urgency and a strong work ethic. Someone who likes to stay busy, uses their brain, takes ownership, and gets stuck in when things need doing.
Experience is highly regarded, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter just as much.
✔️ Experience in meat processing, butchery, portion cutting, sausage making, mincing or packing
✔️ Ability to accurately portion and prepare meat products to specification
✔️ Confident using knives and maintaining consistency across retail and wholesale product lines
✔️ Experience working with beef, lamb, pork or chicken products
✔️ Physically strong and capable of heavy lifting
✔️ Fast learner who can take instruction and apply it properly
✔️ Good with their hands and confident around equipment
✔️ Reliable, punctual and able to work at pace
✔️ Positive team attitude — no ego, no drama
✔️ Clean, organised and understands food safety requirements
We value people who:
Listen properly
Take feedback on board
Think ahead and contribute
Work hard without needing constant supervision
Want to improve every week
• Portion cutting beef, lamb, pork and chicken products
• Sausage making, mincing and product preparation
• Knife work, trimming and preparation of retail and wholesale products
• Vacuum packing and preparing customer orders
• Assisting with carcass and product movement throughout the processing room
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards
• Supporting the team to keep production flowing efficiently
• Working alongside experienced team members to continually improve skills and knowledge
This is a physically demanding role.
You will be:
Lifting and moving products regularly (15–25kg+)
Moving carcasses and heavy cartons
Working on your feet for the duration of the shift
Working in a cold processing environment
Maintaining pace during busy production periods
If you enjoy hands-on work and take satisfaction from getting things done properly, you'll enjoy this role.
Consistent Monday to Friday hours
Early finishes and no weekend work
Supportive team environment
Opportunity to learn valuable butchery and processing skills
Long-term opportunities for the right person
Work with premium grass-fed and finished products
Be part of a growing Western Australian business with a strong reputation for quality
If you're looking for more than just a job and want to be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in producing quality products every day, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're not comfortable working at pace, taking direction, lifting heavy products and getting stuck into physical work, this role probably isn't for you.
