COLOURIST - HAIRSTYLIST

About the role

Ostara Hair is a boutique premium Salon and we are growing rapidly, due to our location we get high foot traffic. we are seeking a passionate, energetic and Excellent Hairstylist/Colourist to join our small team in our Surry Hills salon. As a Hairstylist/Colourist, you will be responsible for providing hair services to perfection to our valued clients, contributing to the growth and success of our business. This is a full-time, part-time, or casual position for the right person to join in our modern salon located in the heart of Surry Hills, Sydney.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a thorough consultation to complement our premium in salon experience

• Maintaining a professional and friendly interaction with our clients

• Offering product advice to clients

• Ensuring the salon's appearance and work stations are always clean and well-organised

• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and salon policies

• Contributing to the overall growth and success of the salon through excellent customer service

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hairstylist/Colourist in a professional salon environment

• Precision hair cutting, colouring, and styling Blow-dry skills with a strong understanding of current hair trends and techniques

• Proficiency in highlights/lowlights, foiling, balayage, fashion colours, colour correction, and root touch-ups techniques

• A friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to provide exceptional client care

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards

• Strong time management and organisational skills to manage a busy client schedule

• A passion for the hair industry and a desire to continuously improve your skills

• A self-motivated individual, energetic and bubbly personality

• Well presented, accommodating and willing to work with an I CAN DO attitude

• Australian citizens or permanent residents with current work rights
