We're looking for a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or a Qualified Light Vehicle Technician to step into a role with above-award pay, variety in your week, quality gear, and a team that's got your back. You'll split your time between our fully equipped Caloundra workshop and mobile diagnostic and repair jobs, keeping your work challenging, interesting, and rewarding. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of light vehicles, such as servicing, brake and suspension repairs, and tyre replacement.

• Diagnose vehicle problems effectively, with a strong focus on advanced diagnostics and accurately identifying required parts.

• Repair and replace worn and broken parts using standard automotive tools and equipment.

• Conduct safety and performance tests on light vehicles.

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of all vehicle systems, repairs, and complex issues to ensure confidence in diagnostics.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle Technology or close to completion.

• Previous experience in a light vehicle mechanic role.

• Proven diagnostic ability, with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of complex vehicle systems.

• Must have valid Australian work rights.

• Own hand and power tools.

• Valid manual driver's licence.

• Willing work ethic.

• Ability to work well under pressure.

• Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Sense of humour.
