Andori Building Group is looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team.

We specialise in residential construction and renovations throughout Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, South Eastern Suburbs and the Yarra Valley.

This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while working on a wide variety of projects including decks, pergolas, framing, cladding, fencing, renovations, lock-up and fix carpentry. We undertake all aspects of residential carpentry, providing excellent opportunities to develop your skills and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Duties will include:

• Assisting qualified carpenters on site

• Learning all aspects of residential carpentry

• Use and maintenance of hand and power tools

• Measuring, cutting and installing building materials

• Site preparation and site clean-up

• Assisting with framing, decking, cladding, fencing and renovation works

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

To be successful you will have:

• Genuine interest in carpentry and construction

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills

• Punctual and reliable attitude

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred (applicants under 18 may be considered if located within the Yarra Valley or Outer Eastern Suburbs)
