We have exciting opportunities available for Welders to join our team responsible for the delivery of the High-Capacity Signalling (HCS) project in Perth, Western Australia. You will play a key role in helping keep Perth's rail network safe and reliable. 

Based on site at Nowergup, you will be operating and maintaining welding equipment safely and efficiently for multiple fleets that are operating across Perth's network.

Your future role: 

  • Perform welding tasks on rollingstock vehicles

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications

  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. 

  • Must be available to work Afternoon shift.

About you:

  • Boilmaker Trade or Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade

  • Ability to be able to interpret technical diagrams & drawings

  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. 

  • You must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
