Mary Street Bakery is an established and well respected bakery which supplies handmade artisan pastry and bread products to our own cafés as well as a large wholesale customer base.

We are looking for pastry chefs who are passionate about what they do, aren't afraid of hard work, have a consistently high standard of product, are self motivated and team oriented.

The successful applicants will need to be able to perform the following duties;

  • Make croissant, puff and sweet pastry doughs

  • Laminating rolling and cutting doughs to create our extensive range of sweet and savoury products - Extensive experience with lamination is preferred.

  • Create and decorating our range of donuts, pastries, cakes and slices

  • Maintain our par levels of stock and ensuring proper storage and labelling of all our food supplies

  • Ensure overall cleanliness and food safety requirements are maintained at all times

You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the entire pastry team so effective communication is important.

Shifts are during the day Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday

Qualified pastry chefs with Australian working rights should apply. Salary negotiable depending upon experience.
