As a Diesel Fitter, you will work as a part of our workshop team to ensure our large fleet is maintained and available. You will be reliable and professional, with the right attitude to get the job done. The role is a permanent full time position with an immediate start.

Your responsibilities:

  • Servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work of our Earthmoving machinery, Crushing Equipment & Heavy Vehicles

  • Work autonomously and unsupervised

  • Completing work to a high standard

  • Mentor and coach assigned apprentices

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safe work practices

About you:

  • A relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, or a similar field

  • Well-developed communication and customer service skills

  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

  • A continuous improvement commitment and positive attitude

  • Diagnostic skills to ensure a fault/issue is identified to its root cause before parts replacement

  • Competence to diagnose, repair and replace hydraulic systems and components

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required for this position.
