Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Electrician to step into a senior site-based role — someone who takes ownership, works independently, and represents our business with professionalism.

THE ROLE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The primary focus of this role is the delivery of commercial construction projects across the Gold Coast and close surrounds. You will be the face of our company on-site — managing day-to-day electrical operations, coordinating your team, and liaising directly with builders and project managers to ensure works are completed on time and to the highest standard.

From time to time, work will also include residential construction projects such as houses, duplexes, and multi-dwelling builds, as well as the occasional service and maintenance job — so a well-rounded electrician who is comfortable across different work types will thrive here.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting and working from a range of construction plans including electrical, hydraulic, architectural, civil, and mechanical drawings

• Managing and mentoring electricians and apprentices on site

• Independently planning and executing daily tasks to meet project milestones and objectives

• Ordering and coordinating materials to ensure works are never delayed

• Liaising professionally with builders, project managers, and other trades on site

• Representing our company in a manner consistent with our reputation for quality and reliability

• Working autonomously with minimal supervision — you know what needs to be done and you get it done

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

• Queensland Electrical Contractor/Worker Licence (Open)

• Proven experience in commercial construction with a leading hand or supervisory background — interpreting multi-discipline plans is essential

• Current Manual (Class C) Driver's Licence

• Construction site safety cards (White Card / BWOF)

• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence

• CPR and LVR (Low Voltage Rescue) current certification
