Trainee Swimming Pool Technician

Full-time Trainee Swimming Pool Technician position exists at our Brisbane store in the Eight Mile Plains Store.

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Permanent residency status is required for this role.

We are currently looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the pool & spa industry and making it a career.

On the Job Training Provided. You must be motivated to build a strong retail and service career, don't mind getting down and dirty and be a great team player and physically fit.

What you will be doing

• Pool cleaning - leaf scooping, brushing, vacuuming of pools.

• Cleaning pool baskets, filters and chlorinator cells.

• Testing and balancing of pool chemicals.

• Adjusting chlorinator, pump and controller settings.

• Maintenance and cleaning of pool cleaners.

• Recording of service job notes and activities in the company database in a timely manner.

• Equipment repairs and plumbing.

• Installation of new pool equipment & removal of old

• Troubleshooting pool equipment issues and rectifying

• Interaction with customers on-site

• Unloading and shelf packing of pool salt & chemicals

The successful applicant must be reliable, and able to work within a team and good people skills are essential.

A driver's license is essential for this position.

Provisional driver's licence holders are acceptable for this position.

An open/full driver's licence is required for this position.
