The Role

FHR currently have multiple opportunities for an experienced Fitter / Installer / Service Technician to join our client that specialises in the Windows & Doors industry. This opportunity is located in Ormeau on the Gold Coast and we have immediate starts available for the candidates who're successful in their application for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of aluminium windows and doors across residential and commercial sites.
  • Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and installation specifications.
  • Measuring, fitting, and securing window and door products to manufacturer standards.
  • Conducting service, maintenance, and repair work on existing window and door systems.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting installation or product issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installation and service tasks.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fitter / Installer / Service Technician (Windows or Doors)
  • Must undergo and pass a drug & alcohol screening
  • Must have a white card
  • Must have an open drivers license
  • Must be able to complete a national police check
  • Ability to provide two recent, contactable work referees to confirm employment history
