About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join the team at The Pool Barn in Brisbane. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing swimming pools and associated equipment. This role is essential to ensuring our customers enjoy safe, clean and well-functioning pools year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance.

• Test and balance pool water chemistry.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators, and heating systems.

• Identify maintenance issues and recommend solutions.

• Maintain accurate service records and reports.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Provide professional customer service to clients.

Requirements

• Experience in pool maintenance or a related field.

• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and treatment procedures.

• Ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes.

• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and residential pools.

• Electrical or plumbing experience is an advantage.
