Roadside Assistance Contractor.

Canbra Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and mechanically minded individual who enjoys working independently, helping people, delivering exceptional customer service and has a genuine passion for the motor vehicle industry. Comprehensive training, ongoing support and strong earning potential, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in mobile roadside assistance.

  • Earning potential of $80,000 - $100,000+ per annum.

  • Performance based renumeration - paid per job and per battery sale.

  • Immediate start available.


This position involves providing mobile emergency roadside assistance across Canberra and surrounding areas. As a contractor, you will work primarily on day shifts, five days per week, with the support of our established systems and procedures. If required, we can provide a work vehicle, tools, equipment, uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE).


To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid ABN and registered Pty Ltd company.

  • A current unrestricted manual driver’s licence with a good driving record.

  • A genuine interest in the motor vehicle industry and commitment to outstanding service and support to customers.

  • Sound mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional and confident telephone manner.

  • Efficient time management skills

  • Fluent English communication skills.

  • Reside within the Canberra region essential due to the service area covered.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Reliable, self motivated and dependable.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload and time effectively.

  • Prioritise tasks across a dynamic service area.

  • A neat, well presented professional appearance.


While not essential, experience with the following would be advantageous:

  • Cash handling.

  • EFTPOS transactions.


Employment Conditions:

  • Weekly payments.

  • Initial trial period as part of the selection process.

  • Three month probationary period.

  • Ongoing support and training provided.
