Boilermaker Welder Fabricator Installer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Installer to join our team on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation and repair of custom-made shade structures and related products.

What you'll be doing

1. Fabricate custom metal components and structures from technical drawings and specifications.

2. Perform welding, cutting, grinding and finishing work to a high standard.

3. Safely install and assemble shade structures and related products on-site.

4. Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.

5. Collaborate with the design and project management teams to deliver exceptional quality and customer service

6. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Boilermaking, welding or engineering fabrication.

2. Extensive experience in the fabrication, welding and construction of structural steel.

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

4. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment.

5. Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.

6. A positive, collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills.
