2nd Class WelderSheetmetal Worker

We are looking for a 2nd Class Welder/Sheetmetal Worker to join our expanding team in Murarrie, Brisbane. Working within our Trailer Repairs Division, you will be fabricating and fitting parts to trailers and completing major repairs to transport refrigeration trailer bodies. 

Day to day you will be:

• Working with steel, stainless and aluminum at various thicknesses to carry out repairs to transport trailers 

• Working to allocated deadlines for repairs

• Using problem-solving skills to solve any issues that arise

• Using your attention to detail to ensure your work is of good quality

About you:

• Must have fabrication and welding (MIG) experience

• Attention to detail 

• Problem-solving abilities

• Self-starter with a desire to learn more about the trailer repair industry

• Willing to learn other skills relating to trailer repairs

This is a full-time permanent position, working 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday at our Murarrie Workshop. All PPE (Including air-fed respirator and welding helmet) is supplied and annual performance/pay reviews are conducted. Hourly rate above award will be discussed with the successful applicant.
