About The Opportunity

Join our Community and Facility Services team as a Carpenter and Scoping Officer. In this role, you’ll scope and deliver maintenance and small projects for Council’s venues and facilities. You’ll work across a variety of construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes that support our community spaces.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a Trade Certificate in Carpentry (or AQF equivalent) and additional structured training.
Brings experience across domestic, commercial, and industrial building works.
Demonstrates strong project and time management skills with the ability to coordinate materials and trades.
Communicates effectively and provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Has sound computer skills and can manage documentation, purchasing, and reporting accurately.
