Positions Available:
Qualified Fabricator/Boilermaker
This position is available on a full-time or casual basis, and we are looking for dedicated and skilled candidates who can demonstrate their valuable contributions to Weld East.
We value hard work and flexibility, so we are seeking candidates with exceptional attention to detail who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to meeting our customers' high standards.
This role offers full-time hours, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing welding tasks using techniques such as MIG & TIG.
Working with light to heavy materials to produce high-quality results.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensuring all tasks meet strict safety and quality standards.
Assisting with general workshop duties and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade certifications in Fabrication preferred. Required for qualified roles.
Proficiency in MIG / TIG (ability to pass a basic weld test).
Experience with metals or steel such as aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, carbon steel
The ability to work unsupervised and to a high standard.
Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
A proactive and motivated work ethic, and strong commitment to safety.
Additional Requirements:
Own hand tools and welding helmet.
Current driver's license.
Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
Competitive and well above award pay.
