Field Service Technician - Mechanic

Blue Diamond is a leading industrial equipment supplier specializing in Generators and Air Compressors and other industrial equipment.

Working as part of the close-knit team at our Melbourne Operation based in Laverton North, we are looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to join our team and grow along with our company. 

This position also comes with a $3,000 retention bonus at the completion of 6 months with the company.

What your day will look like:

• Assist with ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Blue Diamond Machinery including generators, lighting towers and air compressors.

• Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.

• Work alongside and support Tradesman, Mechanical Technicians and Auto Electricians to ensure all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time.

• Working with Blue Diamond Machinery customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

What a suitable candidate contributes:

• Hold a current Australian Driver's License. 

• Exposure to conducting service and maintenance requirements throughout Kubota, Perkins, Cummins, Isuzu, Honda and Yanmar. 

• Current or, ability to fulfil requirements of a pre-employment medical.

• License to conduct high risk work with dogging and rigging desirable.

• High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
