Workshop Mechanic
Burton, South Australia Location
$55-60/Hr + Super
3-4 Month Temporary Position
 
Our client is a leading supplier of plant and equipment that supplies to the construction industry, with locations throughout Australia. Due to extended leave cover, they are looking for a Workshop Mechanic to join their team from next week (15th of June) until late October 2026.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Completing service reports, and update workshop systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Work effectively within a workshop team to meet operational requirements.
  • Assisting with field service work when required/
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on heavy diesel equipment, trucks, mining equipment, or similar heavy vehicles.
  • Australian recognised trade qualification (HD OR LV Trade Cert Accepted!)
  • Full availability until end of October 2026.
  • Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
