Mechanical Fitter – Maintenance Role
Overview
Join a close-knit maintenance team supporting the reliability and performance of a process plant. In this role, you’ll carry out both preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day work will include inspections, servicing, and overhauls of plant equipment, as well as contributing to shutdown planning and small improvement projects. You’ll gain exposure to a range of rotating and fixed assets commonly found in industrial processing environments such as energy, petrochemical, and emerging technologies.
Skills & Experience
• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III Engineering or equivalent) – essential
• Machining experience highly regarded
• Current manual driver’s licence – required
• Background in process plant or heavy industry preferred
• Experience working with rotating equipment advantageous

You are safety-focused, reliable, and take pride in maintaining high work standards. You enjoy working within a team but are equally comfortable working independently. A proactive approach to continuous improvement will set you up for success in this role.
