Electrician Instrumentation Technician

We have 45 years' experience and expertise in the Gas Detection industry, and are a leader in supply, service, installations and calibration. We have an opportunity for an Instrumentation &/or electrical service technician to join our team.

Candidates must have electrical &/or instrumentation experience.

A minimum of 18 months of instrumentation or electrical technician experience is required.

Primary responsibilities include; Gas Detection Installations, Repairs & replacements, on-site calibrations, service & maintenance at customer site. And workshop duties (panel building, new gas detectors & systems, electrical works, office & warehouse maintenance & upgrades).

Trade Qualifications; Either a Restricted Licence (REL or D) or an Electrical Licence (A-Grade) is required for the role - or has completed the courses required to attain a restricted licence.

Candidates with either current electrical qualifications or those who have completed the required courses will be considered.

Requirements (Permits / Clearances); Applicant must have (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check & Working With Children's Check (WWCC), as these are required for access to customer sites.

Candidates must either hold current Police Check and Working With Children's Check or be willing to obtain these clearances.

Skills Required; Good Communication, able to organise own schedule, work well in a team, as well as independently. Fault finding capabilities, and able to work well under pressure & respective time-frames.
