Classic Vehicle Restoration

Love metal shaping and repair work?

Finch Restorations is looking for an experienced Panel Beater or Coachbuilder to join our growing team in Hindmarsh.

This is not production-line insurance work.

This is traditional restoration work involving rust repairs, panel fabrication, metal finishing and restoration of significant classic vehicles.

About Us

Finch Restorations has been operating since 1965 and is Australia's oldest vehicle restoration business.

We restore everything from vintage motorcycles and classic cars through to heritage trucks and rare specialty vehicles.

The Role

We're after a skilled tradesperson who can:

  • Repair rust and accident damage.

  • Fabricate repair sections and complete panels.

  • Carry out metal finishing and panel alignment.

  • Repair body structures and chassis components.

  • Assist with coachbuilding and restoration projects.

  • Work to a high standard of craftsmanship and finish.

Experience with restoration, fabrication, rust repair or classic vehicles will be highly regarded.

About You

You'll have:

  • Trade qualifications as a Panel Beater, Coachbuilder or similar.

  • Strong fabrication and metalworking skills.

  • Pride in producing high-quality work.

  • Experience with classic vehicles highly regarded but not essential.

  • Full Australian working rights.
