Workshop Painter

About the role

JMS Group Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Painter with experience in industrial or automotive painting. You’ll be working on mining equipment and structural steel as part of a supportive and safety-driven team.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required

• Applying industrial and automotive coatings to a high standard

• Mixing paint to achieve the desired colour and consistency

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the project

• Adhering to all workplace health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Experience painting in industrial, mining, or automotive environments

• Trade-qualified Painter

• Current Driver’s Licence (required)

• Forklift Licence (HRWL) – preferred but not essential

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
