Diesel Mechanic Apprentice Wanted – Reece Diesel

Reece Diesel is looking for a motivated 1st to 4th year diesel mechanic apprentice to join our workshop in Yennora, NSW.

We specialise in diesel engine reconditioning, performance builds, diagnostics, pumps, injectors, turbos and 4WD diesel work, mainly on engines such as 1HZ, 1HDT, 1HD-FTE, 1VD-FTV, TD42, 1KD and similar platforms.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn proper diesel engine work, not just basic servicing.

You’ll be involved in:

Engine strip-downs and rebuilds
Cylinder head and bottom-end work
Turbo and injector jobs
Diagnostics and fault finding
4WD diesel performance work
General workshop duties
Measuring, cleaning, assembling and learning proper engine procedures

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Willing to listen and learn
Careful with tools and parts
Interested in diesel engines and 4WDs
Able to follow instructions
Not afraid of hard work
Respectful in the workshop

Experience is a bonus, but attitude matters most.

Location: Yennora, NSW
Hours: Full-time
Pay: Apprentice award rate +, based on year level and age
Start: Immediate for the right person
