With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team on a full-time basis at our Geebung workshop.
About the Role
This is an opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality workmanship and can confidently manage all aspects of cabinet making and joinery production.
Working Monday to Friday from our Geebung workshop, you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and occasional installation of custom commercial joinery. Our projects range from hospitality fit-outs and bars through to retail and commercial environments.
You will be expected to work autonomously, confidently read and interpret workshop drawings, troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. This role requires strong traditional cabinet making and joinery skills, with all work completed using conventional machinery and hand tools, without the use of CNC machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
Manufacturing and assembling custom commercial joinery
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
Operating a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
Assisting with on-site installations when required
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines
Occasional travel may be required for site installations and interstate project work.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Cabinet Maker who is confident working across both factory production and site installation environments.
You will be a tradesperson who takes ownership of your work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys delivering quality outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
Trade qualified (Certificate III in Cabinet Making / Joinery)
Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience in commercial joinery or cabinetry
Strong experience in both workshop production and on-site installation
Manufacturing custom joinery using conventional woodworking machinery and hand tools, without the use of CNC machinery
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
Experience working with a wide range of materials and finishes
High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and practical mindset
Current driver's licence
Reliable, punctual, and professional
