We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced electrician to carry out residential safety and compliance inspections, including smoke alarm servicing, RCD testing and replacement, water efficiency assessments, and corded blind safety checks. You'll start each day from home, travelling directly to scheduled appointments and using our in-house app to manage bookings and record inspection results. Inspection times typically range from 10–30 minutes, depending on the property and services required, with travel time varying throughout the day.
While the majority of work is located within Canberra, this role also involves regular travel to regional NSW and the ACT, including areas such as Batemans Bay, Cooma and Goulburn. Occasional overnight stays will be required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and working across a diverse range of locations.
Electrical licence (NSW & ACT)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Professional presentation and self-motivated
Strong customer and safety focus
Familiar with smart phones applications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment Physical Assessment.
$80k + Super + Company Car + Tools + Phone + Uniform
Additionally, up to $5k in performance bonuses yearly
Consistent hours Monday to Friday (38 hours per week) with early finish on Friday's
