Production Baker – Full Time

Gluten Free 4 U is one of Queensland's leading gluten-free bakeries, producing a wide range of breads, cakes, pastries and wholesale products for customers across South East Queensland.

We operate a busy production bakery supplying both retail and wholesale markets. Our team values reliability, consistency, efficiency and a willingness to work together to get the job done.

We're looking for an experienced and dependable Baker to join our production team.

The Role

This is a hands-on production role within a fast-paced bakery environment.

You'll be responsible for preparing and baking products to established recipes and production schedules while maintaining the quality and consistency our customers expect.

We're looking for someone who can work efficiently, follow instructions accurately and contribute to the team with minimal supervision.

 

Responsibilities

• Preparing and baking products to recipe specifications

• Mixing, scaling and handling doughs, batters and fillings

• Following production schedules and daily task lists

• Packing and labelling products for retail and wholesale orders

• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards

• Completing opening and closing procedures

• Monitoring product consistency and reporting issues when identified

• Assisting across different areas of production as required

 

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial bakery or high-volume food production environment

• Able to follow recipes, procedures and instructions accurately

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential

• Comfortable working independently and staying productive without constant direction

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Positive, professional attitude and willingness to support the team

• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)

 

Highly Regarded

• Certificate III in Retail Baking

• Experience in bread production

• Experience in pastry production

• Experience in gluten-free baking

• Experience working in allergen-controlled environments
