Full-time Irrigation Technician

Position: Full-time Irrigation Technician 

Location: The main office is in Geebung, Brisbane

This role will be servicing Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba.

Hourly Rate: $37 - $45

Our work week is based on a 40-hour week, with travel outside of these hours paid in addition.

About Us

Bob’s Irrigation Services is based in Geebung, Queensland. Specialising in the Irrigation Supply, planning, maintenance, and installation of water filtration, sprinkler irrigation, and related services. Established in 2002 (after more than a decade of prior experience). Bob, from his Brisbane-based home, started the company, which has grown to become a preferred supplier across a diverse market. From residential and commercial projects right through to Estate developments.

•  Above-award loaded rate of $37-$45.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week)

• An additional $5.00 per week phone allowance for the use of your personal mobile phone for work-related calls and data

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Irrigation servicing and maintenance

• Fault finding and repairs

• Installation of irrigation systems

• Controller programming and troubleshooting

• Working independently and as part of a team

• Communicating with the office for returns

• Documenting works conducted on the task file accessible via app

• Providing high-quality workmanship and customer service

• Following company procedures and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Irrigation qualification or 12 months or more of relevant industry experience 

• Blue Card / Working with Children Card required

• Current manual driver's licence required

• White Card required

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Professional presentation and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude

Desirable

• Experience with both residential and commercial irrigation systems

• Experience with irrigation controllers and automation systems

• Excavator or machinery experience

• EF Welding Certificate 

• Working at Heights Certification

• Working in Confined Spaces Certification

• Irrigation Certificate III or IV
