About the Company:
Our client, a leading US and Australian manufacturer and supplier to the mining industry is seeking either a certified Mechanical Fitter (either LV, HD or Fixed Plant) to join their team in Welshpool. Specialising in manufacturing reverse circulation drills which are used for exploration, this company also provides rebuilds, maintenance and servicing.
  
About the Role:
As a Drill Fitter, you will working on high-quality RC drill rigs and equipment. You will use a variety of machinery, hand tools, and fitting equipment to perform newbuilds, maintenance / servicing, and rebuilds as required. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical expertise will be key in ensuring the operational efficiency of complex drilling systems.


To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A relevant Australian recognised trade qualification
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
  • Strong commitment to safety with knowledge of safety regulations and concepts.
  • Rigging / Dogging ticket - advantage although not essential 
  • Full Australian working rights
  • The physical capability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen (including the ability to climb stairs and ladders).
Remuneration & Hours:
  • $65.00 p/h + super 
  • Mon - Fri; 6:00am - 2:00pm with optional OT 
  • Temp with the view for permanency for the right person
