About the Role:

Southern Pacific Sands is a leading supplier of quality washed silica sand, bio – retention filtration medium, soil products and quality ready mixed concrete, servicing Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.

Southern Pacific Sands / SPS Quality Concrete is currently seeking reliable and experienced Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers for an immediate start at our Ningi plant.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Saturday, with early starts between 3:45am and 6:00am. Shifts can be up to 10+ hours per day, with half-days typically worked on Saturdays.

Role Requirements:

  • Operating and maintaining a concrete Agi truck, both standard and mini

  • Communicate professionally with customers

  • Performing pre start checks and ensure safety standards are adhered to

  • Ensuring concrete is delivered to specification

  • Physical fitness to perform the role

  • Overtime rates after 7.6hrs and all day Saturday

Skills and Experience:

  • High level of commitment to safe work practices

  • HR Driver's licence

  • Possess a clean driving record

  • Experience driving heavy rigid trucks a must

  • White Card (or Blue Card) - construction induction

  • Experience driving an agitator will be advantageous but not necessary

  • Strong willingness to learn

  • Pass a pre-employment medical
