About the role

Wipe Clean Property Services is seeking an experienced Subcontractor Cleaner to join our growing team in Adelaide, SA. This is a contract position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work independently whilst being part of a professional cleaning services organisation. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to our diverse portfolio of residential and commercial clients across the Adelaide area. This role is ideal for experienced cleaners who value autonomy and want to expand their client base through a reputable service provider.

Candidates must have an active ABN registration to work as a subcontractor with our organisation.

Public liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2 million is mandatory for all subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform comprehensive cleaning services to residential and commercial properties, adhering to agreed specifications and quality standards

2. Prepare and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition

3. Follow health and safety protocols and environmental best practices whilst carrying out cleaning duties

4. Manage time effectively to complete assigned properties within scheduled timeframes

5. Communicate professionally with clients and address any cleaning concerns or special requests promptly

6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or damages observed during cleaning

7. Uphold the reputation of Wipe Clean Property Services through reliable, punctual and professional conduct

8. Adapt to varying cleaning requirements across different property types and sizes

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a cleaner, with a strong track record of delivering quality results

2. Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning experience is required for this position

3. Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment suitable for different surfaces and materials

4. Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to manage multiple properties and schedules independently

5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

6. Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous approach to client interactions

7. Physical capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy items safely

8. Current working with children check (or willingness to obtain) if working in residential properties with families

9. Own reliable transport and the ability to travel to various locations across Adelaide

10. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently without close supervision

11. Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings or evenings if required

12. Valid Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa are essential
