Maintenance Supervisor – Maddington Branch

MGM Bulk Pty Ltd (MGM) is a privately owned and trusted Western Australian business with a strong reputation in bulk haulage, quarrying and logistics. We are seeking a hands‑on and safety‑focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our Perth (Maddington) Branch. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance activities to ensure MGM’s fleet and equipment are maintained safely, efficiently and in compliance with statutory, Main Roads and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day‑to‑day maintenance and repair activities at the Perth branch

  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with WHS and MGM procedures

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance, inspections and defect repairs

  • Supervise diagnostics, fault‑finding and repairs on fleet and equipment

  • Ensure work orders, service records and maintenance documentation are accurately completed

  • Monitor maintenance costs and communicate progress, delays and risks to management

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective repairs

  • Lead, coach and support maintenance employees

  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities

  • Ensure fleet and equipment comply with Main Roads WA accreditation, servicing, fault prioritisation and roadworthiness requirements

  • Maintain accurate service records, inspections and defect management in line with statutory and MGM standards

About You

  • Experience in a maintenance supervisory role or senior mechanical position

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting skills

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and support maintenance teams

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Safety‑focused with a proactive and solutions‑based approach

Tickets & Qualifications

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)

  • HR Driver’s Licence (essential)

  • Forklift Licence (desirable)

  • Police Clearance
