About the Role

Risk Support Group is currently recruiting for multiple Security Specialists, Security Officers and Security Monitoring Officers interested in full-time or causal shift work positions.

These roles require professional self-starters who can work unsupervised using discretion and strategic thinking.

Security Specialists

Security Specialists play a critical role in supporting Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) activities on a daily basis. This position requires individuals who are fully licensed as bodyguards and investigators, with the flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally. Successful candidates must be capable of operating independently or as part of a team, delivering comprehensive client support while leveraging their full range of skills and expertise. A background in military, law enforcement, or relevant government service is essential.

Security Officer

Security Officers are responsible for a range of critical tasks, including CCTV and operational technology monitoring, technical security measures, patrolling, static site security, logistical support, and detailed report writing. Ideal candidates will bring substantial experience in security operations and demonstrate the ability to perform these duties with professionalism and precision.

Security Monitoring

Control Room Operators are responsible for overseeing operations within the GSOC. Their core duties include continuous CCTV and technology monitoring, coordinating incident responses, maintaining clear communication with field teams, and producing accurate, timely reports.

Security personnel will be required to conduct 12-hour day and night shifts as part of a rotating roster.

To be successful in these roles the right person needs to be able to meet the client’s security and logistical needs, which will require the completion of a wide variety of tasks with a positive attitude. They must maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate a positive and proactive mindset.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Competent with information and technical systems, including Microsoft suite.

  • Conduct verbal and written briefings, operational planning, and report writing.

  • Positive demeanour and attitude


Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts

  • 24/7 availability.

  • Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

  • WA Cert II Security Licences (Security Officer and Crowd Control).

  • Current First Aid.

  • WA “C” Class Drivers Licence.

  • Ability to obtain Working with Children Check


Highly Regarded Skills and Attributes

  • Physically fit with excellent presentation.

  • Military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience.

  • Additional WA Security licenses (e.g. Bodyguard, Investigations etc.)

  • Practical skills / logistics capability (ie. towing, securing loads, manual handling, working at heights)

  • MR/HR Licence

  • National security clearance or previous holder.

  • Formal medical qualifications.

  • Certificate IV in Security Risk Analysis
